About C@MPUS
At the University of Stuttgart the project CUS was started in 2010 with the goal to select and implement a subsequent system for the system HIS Classic, which was to be discontinued. In 2012 the University of Stuttgart has made the decision for the system CAMPUSonline which has replaced the previous system successively in the timeframe 2014 until 2017.
The acronym C@MPUS for Campus-Management-Portal of the University of Stuttgart was selected in a name contest.
In Germany CAMPUSonline is used at the two TU9 universities RWTH Aachen and TU München, at the University of Cologne, at the University of Bayreuth and at the Witten/Herdecke University. Introductary projects take place at University of Heidelberg and at Leuphana University Lüneburg.
CAMPUSonline
CAMPUSonline is the campus management system developed by the Graz University of Technology which is meanwhile used by about 40 universities and institutions of higher education in the German-speaking area.
